Ian Lester (Bio)

A painter of an expressionist and contemporary style with interest in pop and comics. A loose and secure stroke, deliberately unfinished. He is interested in auto socially-excluded characters or human groups. Some formal signs characterize Ian Lester´s work: the absence of parts of the face, white eyes, poured with color and toned down. Each series is extensive; sight altogether intensifies the artist’s intention to create visual simulations.
